You might have heard the discussions and debates about cannabis usage social media, news channels, newspapers, YouTube, and all the other platforms. Cannabis is also known as marijuana, weed, pot, ganja, kush, 420, grass, and pot in various regions of the world. Several medical studies and researches have proved that cannabis is helpful in treating several medical conditions. In ancient Indian medical history, cannabis is believed to be one of the most sacred and significant plants in the world. In the last few decades, cannabis has been legalized in several countries of the world. Canada has formed a Canada Weed Dispensary so people can have a legal distribution channel to buy weed online in Canada. Seeing this decriminalization and legalization of marijuana in the country, we are assuming that cannabis has prominent potential in the medical industry and with more researches; new medicines will be made from it to treat various medical conditions. However, apart from the medicinal usage, it also carries the properties which affect the brain and cause the feeling of “high” in the body.

Cannabis is a hemp plant that has various compounds over 104 but most known are THC and CBD. You may have heard these terms in TED talks or several social posts. THC is a compound which is responsible for getting people high. It is mostly the reason why people are using it for recreational purposes. While CBD is a compound that responds to our opposite of the THC and it carries medical properties that may help to cure medicinal conditions. CBD oil, edibles, tablets, and other products are made from the CBD. Several studies have confirmed that CBD has many benefits including treating cancer, Parkinson’s disease, skin problems, gaining weight, anxiety, and many more conditions. There are fewer studies and researches regarding the various effects of cannabis, particularly THC and CBD because it hasn’t been a long time since governments have legalized its use.

As far as the current market of cannabis is concerned, after the legalization of it, it has become a booming business of multi-billion dollar. It is reportedly to reach $66 billion by 2024. But most of the business of cannabis is dependent on THC. People are selling the weed in the name of the natural and organic herb by increasing THC percentage in it as most of the abusers use it for recreations purpose. And this situation is alarming as the use of chemicals and pesticides in the farming of cannabis will not make them organic anymore. But the medicines are made by extracting CBD from the cannabis but people are less interested in it as it has no mass reach like selling of THC has. You might have heard a smoker saying that weed is very helpful health and it can be alternative of Dianabol but they little know that what they are consuming is actually chemically grown cannabis to increase the level of THC.

With the legalization of cannabis in several countries, it has open a wide space for scientists and medical experts to do studies and researched to find out even more benefits of cannabis and how to use properly. Well, there are no studies about the effects of the long term effects of cannabis. While CBD use is considered to be safe but THC may have some side effects but it is less risky than tobacco and alcohol. When scientists can find and extract compounds from the natural plant like cannabis to make medicines then why would they rely on chemicals? So the future of cannabis use in medical science seems very promising.
