How much cbd oil should you take every day if you are working out?

Hemp oil is believed to have many uses and is in fact used for a wide range of different purposes. Some people use hemp oil to help them relax, while others use it to fight pain and that is just two of the most common uses for it. But how much hemp oil should you actually take per day?

The safe dosage of hemp oil is about 2 tablespoons per day. So, it’s essential that you are careful when taking it because over doing it is much easier than you might think. Hemp oil contains high levels of omega 3 fatty acids which is a good thing but it also contains omega 6 fatty acids as well and taking too much hemp oil can lead to problems with an imbalance between the two.

Another potential issue with hemp oil is the THC content. THC or Tetrahydrocannabinol to give it its full name is one of the 113 cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. Even though hemp oil is produced solely from the seeds of the plant it still contains some THC.

THC is a psychoactive which to simplify is what essentially gives you a high, now while that might sound worrying the levels of THC in hemp oil are very small. However, it has been reported that certain people might be more susceptible to it when using hemp oil and over-consumption of the oil could then cause hallucinations or slight artificial highs in people.

This risk of this is very small and further research is really still needed but it does should the importance of sticking with the recommended dosage when it comes to hemp oil. Another risk of over-consumption and one we know more about, is the potential for the thinning of your blood.

This is known as anticoagulation and medicines with anticoagulant properties are used for a variety of purposes. However, these properties can also cause potential health problems as well especially for people with pre-existing blood disorders/ conditions.

If you have such a condition then it is strongly recommended that you talk to your doctor before using hemp oil. You should also stop using it if you are scheduled for surgery in the near future as well. Finally, one other risk to be aware of is the dangers that come with frying hemp oil.

Because hemp oil is well an oil many people use it to cook with, while this is usually quite safe you should never fry food with hemp oil. Hemp oil as a very low flash or smoke point which won’t only make it very unappealing to taste when fried but also potentially dangerous as it could hydrogenate. Basically, it could lightly explode or catch fire which isn’t something you really want to experience, is it?
