You might grow tired of eating the same meals day after day. Going on a diet can help you lose weight, gain more energy, and more. Carbs are not as bad as they’re made out to be. A volumetrics diet is for people who love to eat but still want to lose weight. It’s designed to make you feel full without splurging on food. Fruits and vegetables are low in calories, making them a great choice for this diet. However, there are plenty of other foods to eat if veggies aren’t your thing. Fish and other low-fat meats are great on this diet, as well as limited quantities of pasta. Pizza and chocolate, because they’re high in calories and fats, are off limits when you’re using the volumetrics diet. Aim for foods with fiber and protein. These give you energy without sacrificing the feeling of a good meal.

3. Raw Food Diet

This type of diet isn’t for everyone, it involves eating foods that aren’t processed or cooked in some way. You might be disgusted by this idea, but just hold on a second. Raw foods actually help out in digestion, as they contain special enzymes. These enzymes are destroyed when an item is cooked. There are two types of a raw food diet, a vegan and a non-vegan. The vegan diet relies on fruits, nuts and vegetables. A non-vegan diet could include cheese or raw eggs. There are always food choices on the raw food diet.

4. Zone Diet

The Zone Diet designed to help people lose weight without feeling tired. Named after the zones of the food pyramid, this diet focuses on three specific categories: carbohydrates, proteins and fat. The zone diet carries the caveat that meals must be balanced between the three zones. The zone diet helps maintain the body’s insulin levels. Insulin stability keeps energy levels high while you’re still losing weight.

5. Flat Belly Diet

The flat belly diet is a popular choice with dieters, concentrated on losing belly fat. It’s a two-part diet, with an anti-bloat jump start and a 4 week diet plan. Bloating is a common side effect of having too much gas in the body, but this diet aims to prevent that. The goal of the anti-bloat jump start is to stay away from foods and drinks that cause gas. Some examples are coffee, onions and soda. The key items of the 4 week diet plan are fish, fruits and vegetables.
