  • Granulated sugar | 0.50 tsp
  • Salt | 0.25 tsp
  • Balsamic vinegar | 0.50 cup
  • Garlic, raw | 1.00 Tbsp
  • Palm kernel oil | 0.25 cup
  • Mustard, prepared, yellow | 2.00 tsp
  • Cheese, mozzarella, low sodium | 3.00 slice 1 oz
  • Seedless grapes, raw | 1.00 grapes
  • Olives | 20.00 small

Instructions

  1. In medium nonmetal bowl or resealable food storage plastic bag, mix sugar, salt, garlic (chopped), vinegar, oil and mustard. Add cheese (1/2 inch cube each), tomatoes (each cut in half) and olives.
  2. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours to marinate.
  3. With slotted spoon or tongs, remove cheese, tomatoes and olives from marinade.
  4. On each of 20 decorative toothpicks or bamboo skewers, alternate cheese, tomatoes, olives and basil. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving time.
