Ingredients

  • Tapioca, pearl, dry | 2.00 cup
  • Drinking tap water | 2.00 cup 8 fl oz
  • Lemon peel, raw | 1.00 tbsp
  • Granulated sugar | 1.00 oz
  • Apples, raw, with skin | 2.00 large 3-1/4" dia

Instructions

  1. Soak the tapioca in the water overnight.
  2. Peel and core the apples, cut into quarters, stew, and put in a pie-dish.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar to taste.
  4. And the grated yellow part of a fresh lemon rind.
  5. Mix in the soaked tapioca and water.
  6. Bake on pre-heated oven at 200 degrees F about 1 hour.
  7. Serve cold, with or without boiled Custard.
