Ingredients

  • Gingerbread cake mix | 1.00 package 14.5 oz
  • Spices, cinnamon, ground | 1.00 tsp
  • Granulated sugar | 2.00 tbsp
  • Butter without salt | 2.00 tbsp
  • Butter without salt | 1.00 stick
  • Apple(s) without skin, raw | 5.00 medium 3" dia
  • Apple cider vinegar | 5.00 tbsp
  • English walnuts | 1.00 cup, chopped

Instructions

  1. Slice the butter stick in thin pats; core and slice the apples.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  3. Make a mixture of the sugar and cinnamon.
  4. In a pan, melt the butter and sauté the apples. Sprinkle your cinnamon-sugar on top. When your apples begin to get tender, pour over apple cider and let it simmer.
  5. Put the apples in a 9x13 pan. Transfer the spice cake on top of the apples. Graze some butter and apply it all over cake. Shower over with pecans.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes. Enjoy warm!
