- Slice the butter stick in thin pats; core and slice the apples.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Make a mixture of the sugar and cinnamon.
- In a pan, melt the butter and sauté the apples. Sprinkle your cinnamon-sugar on top. When your apples begin to get tender, pour over apple cider and let it simmer.
- Put the apples in a 9x13 pan. Transfer the spice cake on top of the apples. Graze some butter and apply it all over cake. Shower over with pecans.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes. Enjoy warm!
