  • Whole milk | 0.33 cup
  • Egg, whole, raw | 1.00 small
  • Spices, cinnamon, ground | 0.50 tsp
  • Powdered sugar | 2.00 tbsp unsifted
  • Self-rising enriched wheat flour | 0.50 cup
  • Apple(s) without skin, raw | 2.00 medium 3" dia
  • Cooking spray | 1.00 spray , about 1/3 second 1 NLEA serving
  • Kiwifruit, green, raw | 2.00 fruit 2" dia

  1. Whisk the egg lightly; grate the apples; peel and thinly slice the kiwi fruits.
  2. Blend the flour, sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Stir in the egg and milk. Beat until smooth. Add the apples.
  3. Spray oil on a non-stick frying pan and bring it to low heat.
  4. Dispense ¼ cup of the apple mixture into the frying pan. With a spoon, spread it out to a 10 cm round.
  5. Cook the pancakes in different batches for a few minutes. The oil should bubble and appear on the surface.
  6. Switch sides and cook for a few minutes. It is ready! Serve alongside some fruit and frozen yogurt!
