  • Tapioca, pearl, dry | 0.25 cup
  • Low fat milk, with vitamin A and D | 2.50 cup
  • Spices, cloves, ground | 0.50 tsp
  • Spices, nutmeg, ground | 0.50 tbsp
  • Butter without salt | 2.00 tbsp
  • Apples, raw, with skin | 2.00 medium 3" dia
  • Egg, whole, raw | 3.00 small

  1. Place the sago (tapioca pearls) and milk in a pan, bring to the boil and cook for 8 minutes.
  2. Leave to cool.
  3. When cold, beat in the eggs, sugar, nutmeg, cloves and honey.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180°C, 350°F,gas 4.
  5. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the apple until soft.
  6. Place the apple in a souffle dish and fill the dish with the sago mixture.
  7. Place the dish in a baking tray half filled with hot water and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
