- Start by coring and slicing the apples in a thick manner.
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Mix apples with raisins, lemon juice and cinnamon.
- Melt butter and sprinkle sugar. Stir to combine.
- Arrange apples in the pan. Cook for 15 minutes.
- Spread pastry over top of fruit so that apples are completely covered.
- Transfer pie to preheated oven.
- Bake for around 20-25 minutes.
- Once cooked, let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Serve warm.
