Ingredients

  • Apple(s) without skin, raw | 6.00 large 3-1/4" dia
  • Seedless raisins | 0.50 cup, packed
  • Lemon juice, raw | 2.00 tbsp
  • Spices, cinnamon, ground | 1.00 tsp
  • Butter without salt | 0.25 cup
  • Granulated sugar | 0.50 cup
  • Puff pastry, frozen, ready-to-bake | 1.00 shell

Instructions

  1. Start by coring and slicing the apples in a thick manner.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  3. Mix apples with raisins, lemon juice and cinnamon.
  4. Melt butter and sprinkle sugar. Stir to combine.
  5. Arrange apples in the pan. Cook for 15 minutes.
  6. Spread pastry over top of fruit so that apples are completely covered.
  7. Transfer pie to preheated oven.
  8. Bake for around 20-25 minutes.
  9. Once cooked, let it cool for 5 minutes.
  10. Serve warm.
