Ingredients

  • Skinless chicken breast, raw | 2.00 cup breast, bone and skin removed
  • Garlic, raw | 3.00 Tbsp
  • Olive oil | 1.00 tablespoon
  • Apricot jam | 4.00 oz
  • Barbeque sauce | 0.25 cup 8 fl oz
  • Drinking tap water | 0.25 cup 8 fl oz
  • Onion soup | 1.00 fl oz

Instructions

  1. Cut breast pieces into large chunks; mince the garlic cloves.
  2. In a large skillet, cook chicken and garlic in oil until browned, about 6 minutes. Transfer to a greased 8-in. square baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine the apricot preserves, barbecue sauce, water and onion soup mix. Pour over the chicken.
  4. Bake, uncovered, at 375°F for 25-30 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.
  5. Serve with rice.
