  • Cabbage, raw | 1.50 cup, chopped
  • Pork, cured, bacon, raw | 6.00 slices
  • White rice, long grain, cooked | 2.00 cup
  • Egg, whole, raw | 2.00 medium
  • Sesame oil | 1.00 tsp
  • Spices, pepper, black | 1.00 dash
  • Spring onions | 2.00 tbsp chopped
  • Sesame seeds, whole, dried | 0.33 tbsp

  1. Dice the bacon slices into small pieces and set aside.
  2. Take a frying pan, add diced bacon and fry over medium heat until crispy. Place out from pan and set aside.
  3. By using paper towel, clean the half bacon fat from the pan and reserve the remaining. Add the chopped cabbage in pan, lightly sauté for 5 minutes or until softened and heated through.
  4. Add cooked rice with bacon mixture on medium flame, cook and combine well. Add reserved bacon juice to lightly moist the fried rice. Stir well until cooked well.
  5. Remove from the heat; add sesame oil, bacon pieces and sesame seeds. Combine them together.
  6. Fry the eggs and place over the fried rice. Serve now Bacon fried rice at once.
