- Whisk minced garlic clove, mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar and sugar in a large bowl.
- Add chopped broccoli, rinsed and sliced water chestnuts, cooked bacon crumbled, dried cranberries and pepper; stir to coat with the dressing.
- Adjust seasoning according to taste.
- Toss well and serve immediately. Or cover and refrigerate for up to 1 day.
