Ingredients

  • Cabbage, raw | 0.25 head, small about 4-1/2" dia
  • Cabbage, red, raw | 0.25 head, small 4" dia
  • Cabbage, savoy, raw | 0.25 small head
  • Apples, raw, with skin | 3.00 medium 3" dia
  • Lemons, raw, without peel | 1.00 fruit 2-3/8" dia
  • Spices, caraway seed | 2.00 tsp
  • Apple cider vinegar | 1.00 tbsp
  • Olive oil | 4.00 tablespoon
  • Salt | 1.00 dash
  • Spices, pepper, black | 1.00 dash

Instructions

  1. Shred all the cabbages; squeeze out the juice of lemon;core the apples and then slice them.
  2. Take a large bowl, put cabbages and apple in it along with the lemon juice and then toss together.
  3. For dressing:
  4. Put together honey, oil and vinegar in a screw-top jar.
  5. Then add salt and pepper.
  6. Close the jar and shake well to combine thoroughly.
  7. Ladle the dressing over the salad and then lightly toss to coat.
  8. Sprinkle with caraway seeds and toss again.
  9. Serve.
