Ingredients

  • Carrots, raw | 0.75 lb medium
  • Salt | 1.00 dash
  • Spices, cumin seed | 0.50 tsp powdered
  • Red wine vinegar | 2.00 tbsp
  • Low fat sour cream | 0.50 cup
  • Apples, raw, with skin | 2.00 medium 3" dia
  • Seedless golden raisins | 0.50 cup, packed
  • Cilantro, Fresh, Chopped | 0.25 Cup

Instructions

  1. Half the apples and then core them; cut the carrots into 4-inch pieces. Beat together the vinegar, yogurt, cumin and seasoning in a large bowl.
  2. Grate the apples and carrots in a blender fitted with the grating disk. Then put together the carrots, apples, raisins, yogurt dressing and cilantro, toss them well.
