  • Reduced fat milk with added vitamin A and D | 0.50 cup
  • Chives, raw | 1.00 tbsp chopped
  • Edam cheese | 4.00 oz
  • Celery, raw | 0.50 cup chopped
  • Butter without salt | 1.00 oz
  • Cayenne pepper | 0.25 tsp
  • Salt | 0.50 tsp
  • Self-rising enriched wheat flour | 1.00 cup

  1. Chop Edam cheese and set it aside. Heat the oven to 375°F. Take a bowl sift salt, cayenne pepper and flour in it. Add butter celery, chives and Edam. Put milk and make soft dough. Place on a slightly floured area and knead till soft and smooth.
  2. Make shape as a cob by heaving the dough upward and in the middle. On a greased tray place tucks facing downward and mark slash on top with a fine knife.
  3. Place in oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Wrap the loaf using a foil after some time, if color of the crust is turning into brown. Put on a wire rack to cool. Slice before serving.
