Ingredients

  • White potatoes, raw | 1.00 lb
  • Broccoli, raw | 4.00 cup chopped
  • Fontina cheese | 0.75 cup, shredded
  • Low fat milk, with vitamin A and D | 0.50 cup
  • Salt | 0.50 tsp
  • Spices, pepper, black | 1.00 dash

Instructions

  1. Bring 1 inch of water to a boil in a large pot.
  2. Place (peeled cut into wedges)potatoes in a steamer basket and steam for 10 minutes.
  3. Place chopped broccoli crowns on top, cover and steam until the potatoes and broccoli are tender, 6 to 8 minutes more.
  4. Transfer the broccoli to a large bowl and coarsely mash with a potato masher.
  5. Add the potatoes, cheese, milk, salt and pepper and continue mashing to desired consistency.
  6. Serve immediately.(Adjust seasoning according to taste)
