- Beat an egg lightly, melt butter in a saucepan over low heat and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 210*C. Take a bowl; sift flour with baking powder and sugar together then add beaten egg, milk and butter then finally chocolate chips.
- Turn out onto a lightly floured surface to rest for 20 minutes. Cut out circles with cookie cutter or floured edge of a glass.
- Keep all the scones with each other on a baking paper which should be covered with baking sheet, let rest for 10 minutes more, then bake for 10 minutes. Place out the scones and serve to enjoy.
