- Melt chocolate bars in a saucepan over low heat, separate 2 oz sugar, use warm water for decoration. You will also need ribbon and chocolate buttons. Get them and set all aside.
- Make up the cake as directed in Victoria Sandwich Recipe. Now make icing by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl, beat until forms smooth texture. Use 1/3 of icing and sandwich the cake together, pour the remaining icing on the top and fill the sides.
- Now decorate the cake by mixing sugar with water to prepare smooth icing. Fill up a piping bag fitted with writing nozzle with icing and design numbers 1 to 12 on the chocolate buttons and pipe in a spiral on the button around the center of the cake. Place chocolate buttons on cake to resemble a clock with the spiral in the center.
- Take a greaseproof paper and make shape of clock hands and carefully pour out a small amount of chocolate into drawing. Leave to set then arrange on the clock. Beautify with ribbon around the clock to finish the Chocolate Cake.
