Ingredients

  • Whole milk with added vitamin D | 2.00 cup
  • Granulated sugar | 0.50 cup
  • White cornflour | 4.00 tsp
  • Egg, yolk, raw | 2.00 large

Instructions

  1. Scald milk in top of double boiler.
  2. Combine sugar, cornflour and add slowly to milk.
  3. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add beaten egg yolks very slowly. Cook and stir for 10 minutes more.
  5. Remove and add vanilla.
  6. Serve chilled over fruit or cake.
