Ingredients

  • Granulated sugar | 1.00 cup
  • Butter without salt | 0.50 cup
  • Egg, whole, raw | 1.00 medium
  • Whole grain wheat flour | 1.50 cup
  • Spices, cinnamon, ground | 1.50 tsp
  • Low sodium baking powder | 1.00 tsp
  • Salt | 0.25 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a mixer bowl, cream together sugar and butter; beat in egg and vanilla.Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.Add to butter mixture.Blend well.
  2. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or untill firm enough to roll into balls.
  3. Shape dough into small balls about 3/4-inch in diameter. Roll in cinnamon sugar to coat.
  4. Set cookies 1-inch apart on lightly greased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or till the edges are lightly browned.Cool slightly on pans, then remove to racks to cool completely.
  6. Enjoy.
