Ingredients

  • Salt | 1.00 dash
  • Cocoa powder without sugar | 2.50 tbsp
  • Granulated sugar | 2.00 cup
  • Whole milk with added vitamin D | 1.00 cup
  • Butter without salt | 2.00 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Mix salt, cocoa and sugar , add milk and butter ; bring to boil.
  2. Continue boiling until soft ball stage is reached, stirring only when necessary to prevent sticking. this can be tested in cold water.
  3. Remove from heat and add vanilla,allow to stand until lukewarm.
  4. Then beat until creamy and pour into buttered pan.
  5. Cut in squares when cool.
  6. Serve chilled.
