Ingredients

  • Lime juice, raw | 1.00 tbsp
  • Lemon peel, raw | 1.50 tsp
  • Drinking tap water | 0.50 cup 8 fl oz
  • Maple syrup | 0.50 cup
  • Granulated sugar | 0.50 cup
  • Cranberries, raw | 12.00 oz
  • Ginger root, raw | 1.00 tsp

Instructions

  1. Put together the lime juice, lemon peel, water, sugar and maple syrup in a heavy medium saucepan. Heat; bring the mixture to the boil. Lower down the heat, let simmer for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the cranberries; simmer again for 5 minutes, stirring. Put the ginger and simmer further for 6 minutes until the mixture starts to thicken.
  3. Transfer to the serving bowls and garnish with the lime wedges. Serve Cranberry Sauce with Ginger Recipe at once.
