Ingredients

  • Skinless chicken breast, raw | 2.00 breast, bone and skin removed
  • Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched | 3.00 tbsp
  • Olive oil | 1.00 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice, raw | 1.00 tbsp
  • Garlic, raw | 1.00 whole head
  • Onions raw | 0.33 cup, sliced
  • Chicken broth, low sodium, canned | 1.00 cup
  • heavy whipping cream | 0.50 cup, whipped
  • Salt | 0.25 tsp
  • Spices, pepper, black | 0.13 tsp, ground

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into halves, and put between sheets of plastic wrap, sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper; dredge in the flour.
  2. Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat; add the chicken and brown for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  3. Add the lemon juice, garlic, onions, and chicken broth; bring to a simmer, cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Add the cream and salt and pepper, to taste.
