Ingredients

  • Salt | 0.25 tsp
  • Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched | 2.00 cup
  • Baking powder | 1.00 tsp
  • Granulated sugar | 0.25 cup
  • Low fat milk, with vitamin A and D | 1.00 cup
  • Powdered sugar | 2.00 tsp
  • Cooking spray | 1.00 spray , about 1/3 second 1 NLEA serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450º.
  2. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  3. Add milk and honey,stir just until moist.
  4. Spoon the batter into 12 muffin cups coated with cooking spray.
  5. Bake at 450° for 12 minutes or until golden.
  6. Remove biscuits from pan immediately, and place on a wire rack.
