  • Butter salted | 7.00 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar | 0.75 cup sifted
  • Egg, whole, raw | 5.00 small
  • Low sodium baking powder | 10.00 tbsp
  • Wheat flour bleached | 1.12 cup
  • Reduced fat milk with added vitamin A and D | 4.25 fl oz

  1. Separate 1 tsp sugar for dusting and separate 1 tsp butter and flour for the form, separate eggs. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 180*C. Take a small bowl; beat butter with 5 tbsp of sugar until frothy. Sieve the baking powder with sugar well. Slowly add egg yolks to the butter mixture, add flour with milk of your desired quantity to make solid dough which can be separate by slotted spoon.
  3. Take another bowl; add egg whites with remaining sugar and beat together to add in the dough. Lightly grease cake pan with butter and dust with a good pinch of flour. Fill a greased loaf pan with dough and bake approx 45 minutes. Let the cake rest in pan for 10 minutes and then dust with icing sugar. Cut into desired pieces and serve to enjoy.
