Ingredients

  • home made granola cereal | 1.66 cup
  • Medjool dates | 1.00 cup pitted and chopped
  • Dried coconut flakes | 1.00 cup
  • Dried walnuts | 0.75 cup, chopped
  • Brown sugar | 0.66 cup packed
  • Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, calcium-fortified | 0.50 cup
  • Wheat germ, toasted plain, cereal | 0.33 cup
  • Seedless golden raisins | 0.33 cup, packed
  • Butter without salt | 0.33 cup
  • Spices, cinnamon, ground | 1.00 tsp
  • Salt | 0.13 tsp

Instructions

  1. Put together coconut, walnuts, dates, granola, brown sugar, raisins, flour and wheat germ in a large bowl.
  2. Combine butter, cinnamon, honey, salt and vanilla in a small bowl. Mix together both mixture and then stir until completely moistened. In prepared pan press the mixture.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 13*9*2-inch baking pan with foil. With cooking spray, coat the foil lightly.
  4. Bake the mixture for 25 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack. Using foil, lift cookies from pan. Cut them into bars.
  5. Serve.
