  • Self-rising enriched wheat flour | 2.00 tbsp
  • Spices, cumin seed | 1.00 tsp powdered
  • Spices, coriander | 1.00 tsp
  • Parsley, raw | 3.00 tbsp
  • Garlic, raw | 2.00 Tbsp
  • Onions raw | 1.00 large
  • Chickpeas garbanzo beans, raw | 1.00 cup

  1. Chop garlic cloves, onion and parsley. Set them aside. Take cold water in a bowl and add chickpeas in it. Make sure that water covers the chickpeas completely and let it soak for entire night.
  2. Take a saucepan and boil water then add chickpeas. Boil chickpeas for 5 minutes then let it cook for an hour on medium flame. When cooked properly, drain the chickpeas and let them cool.
  3. Add garlic, coriander, cumin, chickpeas, flour and season it according to your taste. Mix them well then mash chickpeas in it forming a thick paste.
  4. Make small balls of the mixture and fry them in oil using frying pan. Fry the balls for at least 5 minutes until golden. Serve when ready.
