Ingredients

  • Spinach, raw | 1.00 bunch
  • light whipping cream | 0.50 cup, whipped
  • Butter salted | 2.00 tbsp
  • Onions raw | 1.00 tbsp chopped
  • Horseradish, prepared | 1.00 tsp
  • Salt | 0.50 tsp
  • Spices, pepper, black | 0.13 tsp, ground

Instructions

  1. Remove stems, roots, and bruised leaves from spinach.
  2. Wash thoroughly by lifting up and down in cold water. lift leaves out of water each time.
  3. When free from sand and gritty material, place spinach in heavy saucepan. cook 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. Drain cooked spinach and chop. Return spinach to saucepan.
  5. Add cream, butter or margarine, minced onion, horse-radish and a mixture of salt and pepper and stir to blend.
  6. Return to heat; cook until heated thoroughly.
  7. Serve hot.
