Ingredients

  • Margarine, regular, hard, soybean hydrogenated | 2.00 tbsp
  • Brown rice, long grain, raw | 1.00 cup
  • Spices, sage, ground | 0.25 tsp
  • Chicken broth, soup, fat free | 1.25 serving 1 cup 8 oz
  • Drinking tap water | 1.00 cup 8 fl oz
  • Frozen green peas | 1.00 package
  • Canned pimento | 1.00 slice

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a saucepan.

  3. Cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally.

  7. Add peas and simmer 10 minutes.
  8. Stir in pimiento.
