Ingredients

  • White potatoes, raw | 4.00 potato medium 2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia
  • Onions raw | 1.00 small
  • Garlic, raw | 1.00 Tbsp
  • Home prepared, chicken stock | 8.00 cup
  • Spices, bay leaf | 1.00 tsp, crumbled
  • Beans, snap, green, raw | 4.00 cup 1/2" pieces
  • whole grain yellow cornflour | 0.50 oz
  • Calcium fortified skim milk | 0.25 cup

Instructions

  1. Place potatoes, onions, garlic, stock and bay leaf in large saucepan (lid on).
  2. Simmer about 1/2 hour until potatoes are soft.
  3. Add cooked beans about 15 minutes before thickening with cornflour and skim milk powder mixed together.
  4. Remove bay leaf and serve.
