- Roast the sweet pepper slices and finely chop garlic cloves. Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cut French bread into 0.25-inch slices. Mix butter and garlic then butter the slices lightly on one side.
- Place the slices on un-greased baking sheets with buttered side down. Place a piece of provolone over each slice.
- Put a slice of roasted pepper and top with parmesan. Place in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped herbs!
