  • Provolone cheese | 8.00 slice 1 oz
  • Parmesan cheese, shredded | 0.66 cup
  • Peppers, sweet, red, raw | 1.00 cup, sliced
  • Garlic, raw | 2.00 Tbsp
  • Butter without salt | 0.50 cup
  • French bread | 32.00 oz

  1. Roast the sweet pepper slices and finely chop garlic cloves. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut French bread into 0.25-inch slices. Mix butter and garlic then butter the slices lightly on one side.
  3. Place the slices on un-greased baking sheets with buttered side down. Place a piece of provolone over each slice.
  4. Put a slice of roasted pepper and top with parmesan. Place in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped herbs!
