Ingredients

  • Lemon peel, raw | 1.00 tbsp
  • Lemon juice, raw | 2.00 lemon yields
  • Olive oil | 0.25 cup
  • Parsley, raw | 0.25 cup chopped
  • Shallots, raw | 0.25 tbsp chopped
  • Spices, garlic powder | 1.00 tbsp
  • Fresh thyme | 1.00 tsp
  • Salt | 0.50 tsp
  • Spices, pepper, black | 0.25 tsp, ground
  • Skinless chicken breast, raw | 3.00 unit yield from 1 lb chicken

Instructions

  1. Combine the marinade ingredients.
  2. Dip chicken in marinade and place in 3 heavy-duty storage bags with any remaining marinade.
  3. Refrigerate 4 hours.
  4. (Can be made ahead.
  5. Refrigerate up to 24 hours.
  6. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before grilling.)
  7. Prepare grill or preheat broiler and broiler pan.
  8. Grill over low heat or broil 4 inches from heat source 14 - 30 minutes, turning and brushing with reserved marinade every 5 minutes.
