Ingredients

  • Olive oil | 0.25 cup
  • Garlic, raw | 0.50 whole head
  • Onions raw | 1.67 cup, chopped
  • Celery, raw | 1.50 cup chopped
  • Tomato paste, canned without salt | 1.00 can 6 oz
  • Parsley, raw | 1.00 tbsp
  • Carrots, raw | 1.00 cup strips or slices
  • Cabbage, raw | 4.75 cup, shredded
  • Tomatoes, orange, raw | 4.00 tomato
  • Red kidney beans, canned | 1.00 cup
  • Frozen podded peas | 1.50 cup
  • Beans, snap, green, raw | 1.50 cup
  • Drinking tap water | 11.00 cup 8 fl oz
  • Spaghetti | 2.00 Cup

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a 4-quart saucepan. Add garlic, onion, and celery, and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients except spaghetti. Stir until ingredients are well mixed.
  3. Bring to boil and reduce heat, cover,and simmer for about 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  4. Now break uncooked spaghetti into pieces and add into the saucepan.
  5. Simmer for only 2–3 minutes.
