  • Whole wheat, rolled oats, presweetened, with pecans, cereal | 0.20 cup 1 NLEA serving
  • Drinking tap water | 3.00 fl oz
  • Apples, raw, with skin | 1.00 medium 3" dia
  • Lemon juice, raw | 1.00 fl oz
  • Seedless raisins | 0.50 oz
  • Dry roasted mixed nuts, no salt | 0.50 oz
  • Calcium fortified skim milk | 3.50 fl oz

  1. Put the rolled oats into a large bowl and pour the water over, leave to soak.
  2. Peel an apple, cut it in half and then grate it. Add it to the bowl and then stir in the lemon juice.
  3. Gently stir the apple, raisins and nuts into the softened soaked oats. Pour a small amount of milk over the oats and then drizzle the honey on the top of the milk. Serve to enjoy.
