Ingredients

  • Orange juice, raw | 1.00 cup
  • Margarine-like, vegetable oil-butter spread, reduced calorie, tub, with salt | 0.33 tablespoon
  • Orange(s) | 0.50 cup, sections
  • Brown rice, medium grain, cooked | 1.50 cup
  • Canned tangerines in light syrup | 1.00 cup

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the orange zest, orange juice, and butter.
  2. Bring to a boil, and stir in rice.
  3. Cover, and remove from heat.
  4. Let stand 5 minutes.
  5. Mix in mandarin orange segments, and serve immediately.
