Ingredients

  • Sesame oil | 1.00 tsp
  • Hoisin sauce | 4.00 tbsp
  • Garlic, raw | 2.00 Tbsp
  • Hot chili red pepper, raw | 2.00 pepper
  • Ginger root, raw | 1.50 slices 1" dia
  • green onions tops | 4.00 stalk
  • Tomato paste, canned without salt | 0.50 cup

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the white part of green onions and discard green part.
  2. Peel the ginger and chop it finely. Finely chop the garlic.
  3. Split the chillies in half lengthways, remove seeds then cut into thin strips.
  4. Now in a mixing bowl, add sliced chillies, chopped ginger, garlic, onions, tomato paste, hoisin sauce and sesame oil.
  5. Mix well to combine, refrigerate for 30 minutes then serve.
