- Thinly slice the white part of green onions and discard green part.
- Peel the ginger and chop it finely. Finely chop the garlic.
- Split the chillies in half lengthways, remove seeds then cut into thin strips.
- Now in a mixing bowl, add sliced chillies, chopped ginger, garlic, onions, tomato paste, hoisin sauce and sesame oil.
- Mix well to combine, refrigerate for 30 minutes then serve.
