  • Soy sauce made from soy and wheat shoyu | 2.00 tbsp
  • Ginger root, raw | 3.00 tsp
  • Garlic, raw | 1.00 Tbsp
  • Oil, soybean | 2.00 tbsp
  • Drinking tap water | 0.50 cup 8 fl oz
  • Broccoli, raw | 1.00 bunch
  • Cabbage, chinese pak-choi, raw | 16.00 oz

  1. Grate the ginger root; mince the garlic; cut the stalks and then chop the leaves and cut the stalks into 1-inch pieces; cut the broccoli stalks into 0.25-inch pieces and then cut the florets into bite-size pieces.
  2. Place 0.5 cup of water in a large skillet; bring to boil. Then place the stalks of pak choi and the broccoli florets in the water, cover and then simmer on low for 5 minutes. Remove the cover and then heat at high until the water evaporates.
  3. Put the skillet away from the heat and then add the pak choi leaves, garlic and oil. Then again heat it for 2 minutes until crisp-tender. Then put the soy sauce and ginger and toss well.
  4. Transfer to the serving plates and serve Pak Choi with Broccoli at once.
