  • Gouda cheese | 2.00 oz
  • Dry roasted mixed nuts | 5.00 oz
  • Egg, whole, raw | 1.00 small
  • Butter without salt | 4.00 oz
  • Low sodium baking powder | 1.00 tbsp
  • Self-rising enriched wheat flour | 2.00 cup
  • Brown sugar | 0.50 cup unpacked
  • Peanut butter, smooth, vitamin and mineral fortified | 4.00 tbsp
  • Reduced fat milk with added vitamin A and D | 1.00 cup

  1. Grate cheese and beat egg, set it aside. Heat the oven to 350°F. Take a pan put peanut butter, sugar and milk in it then cook it till the sugar dissolves and mixture becomes smooth. Let it cool down.
  2. In a bowl sift baking powder and flour. Put butter in it till mixture looks like fine bread crumbs. Mix peanuts, egg and peanut butter mixture. Using a proper greased 2lb loaf tin, place this mixture in it. Spread cheese and peanuts on top.
  3. Let it bake for 1 ¼ hours till golden brown. Place on a wire rack to cool it down.
