Ingredients

  • Potato, flesh and skin, raw | 4.00 Potato medium 2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia
  • Croutons | 1.00 cup
  • Butter salted | 0.25 cup
  • Apple(s) without skin, raw | 1.00 medium 3" dia
  • Onions raw | 0.75 cup, chopped
  • Garlic, raw | 1.00 Tbsp
  • Parsley, raw | 2.00 tbsp
  • Salt | 1.50 tsp
  • Egg, whole, raw | 1.00 jumbo
  • Whole milk with added vitamin D | 0.50 cup

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes then saute them in butter in a skillet, for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  2. Peel and chop the apple, mince garlic clove, snip parsley and beat the egg. Add these to potatoes along with onion, croutons and salt.
  3. Saute well then put the mixture into a 1.5-quart casserole.
  4. Bake, covered, at 325*F for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
  5. Serve or reserve!
