Ingredients

  • Parsley, raw | 2.00 tbsp
  • Beef, ground, 95% lean meat / 5% fat, raw | 2.00 cup
  • Mustard, prepared, yellow | 0.50 tsp
  • Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, calcium-fortified | 0.33 tbsp
  • Tomato paste, canned without salt | 0.66 tbsp
  • Canned beef broth | 0.66 cup
  • Onions raw | 1.00 tbsp chopped
  • Sauce, worcestershire | 2.00 tsp
  • Salt | 0.25 tsp
  • Spices, pepper, black | 0.13 tsp, ground
  • Canola oil | 2.00 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mince the parsley and onions first. Mix beef broth, mustard, flour and tomato paste together in small bowl. Combine onion, parsley, ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in a separate bowl. Divide it into four 0.5 inch thick ovals.
  2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet, over medium to high temperature. Toss beef ovals in the skillet and cook for 7 minutes, turn often. Remove from the heat and place them to serving plates.
  3. Add broth mixture to the pan and cook until it becomes thick (reduce about 0.5 cup). Pour this sauce all over the beef with the help of a spoon and scatter chopped parsley.
  4. Serve and enjoy Quick Salisbury Steak warm.
