Ingredients

  • Lemon peel, raw | 1.00 tsp
  • Fresh basil | 2.00 tbsp, chopped
  • Garlic, raw | 2.00 Tbsp
  • Olive oil | 2.00 tablespoon
  • Crushed tomatoes | 14.00 oz
  • Granulated sugar | 0.13 tsp
  • Salt | 1.00 dash
  • Spices, pepper, black | 1.00 dash

Instructions

  1. Grate the lemon peel; chop the garlic clove. Put canned tomatoes, grated lemon peel, chopped garlic, oil, basil, sugar, salt and pepper in a saucepan and let boil. Cover and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the cover and again simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce is thick. Adjust seasoning.
  3. Ready to serve.
