Ingredients

  • Skinless chicken breast, raw | 2.00 breast, bone and skin removed
  • Onions raw | 0.50 medium 2-1/2" dia
  • Garlic, raw | 1.00 Tbsp
  • Peppers, sweet, red, raw | 0.50 medium approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2 dia.
  • Broccoli, raw | 1.00 cup chopped
  • Ready-to-serve, salsa | 1.00 cup
  • Cayenne pepper | 0.25 tsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into thin strips.
  2. Thinly slice onions, Thinly slice sweet red pepper.
  3. In large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook chicken stirring frequently, until it is no longer pink and juice run clear. Remove chicken from pan.
  4. In same pan, cook onion, garlic minced, pepper, and broccoli until crisp-tender. Return chicken to pan.
  5. Add salsa and stir to coat. Cook for 1 or 2 minutes.Season to taste with salt, pepper , if using. Serve immediately.
