- Dice cooked ham. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, sift flour, salt, baking powder, and mustard well. Rub butter through mixture until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add cheese and ham together with enough milk, stirring well to make soft dough.
- Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and divide in half. Shape into rounds and place on a floured baking sheet. Use brush to glaze with milk.
- Bake now for approximately 10 minutes; cool it then on a wire rack. Serve with butter twist.
