Ingredients

  • Spaghetti | 2.50 Cup
  • Soy sauce made from soy and wheat shoyu | 0.50 cup
  • Sesame oil | 2.00 tablespoon
  • Canola oil | 2.00 tbsp
  • Red wine vinegar | 2.00 tbsp
  • Cayenne pepper | 1.50 tsp
  • Spring onions | 1.00 large
  • Cilantro, Fresh, Chopped | 0.25 Cup
  • Peas, edible-podded, raw | 4.00 cup, whole
  • Peppers, sweet, red, raw | 1.00 medium approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2 dia.
  • Sesame seeds, whole, dried | 0.50 cup

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  2. Cook spaghetti until just tender, 9 to 11 minutes or according to package directions. Drain; rinse under cold water.
  3. Meanwhile, whisk soy sauce, sesame oil, canola oil, vinegar (or lime juice), crushed red pepper, 1/4 cup scallions and 2 tablespoons cilantro.
  4. Add spaghetti, snow peas (trimmed and sliced on the bias) and bell pepper; toss to coat.
  5. To serve, mix in sesame seeds and garnish with the remaining sliced scallions and chopped cilantro.
