  • Cabbage, raw | 1.00 head, medium about 5-3/4" dia
  • Sweet Green peppers, raw | 1.00 medium
  • Carrots, raw | 4.00 medium
  • Salt | 1.00 dash
  • Spices, pepper, black | 1.00 dash
  • Tabasco | 1.00 tsp
  • Mayonnaise, diet, cholesterol free | 0.66 cup
  • Low fat yogurt | 0.66 cup 8 fl oz
  • Dried sunflower seeds | 0.13 cup

  1. Prepare dressing first. In a bowl, put yogurt, mayonnaise, tabasco sauce and season to taste.
  2. Whisk lightly so that it forms a combined mixture then let it chill in refrigerator.
  3. By the time, cut cabbage into 4 equal sections and eliminate central hard core form it. Separate its leaves; wash them and pat dry.
  4. Using a peeler, peel the skin of carrots and then grate them roughly.
  5. Cut sweet pepper into two halves, eliminate the seeds inside and cut it into fine strips.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, put all vegetables and toss well. Drizzle chilled dressing over them and mix till vegetables are daubed in the dressing.
  7. Roast sunflower seeds in oven till crispy and golden.
  8. Serve Simple Coleslaw, chilled and garnished with roasted sunflower seeds.
