Ingredients

  • Chicken broth, low sodium, canned | 8.00 cup
  • Peas, split, boiled, without salt | 2.00 cup
  • Turkey, pork, and beef sausage, low fat, smoked | 1.00 lb 16 oz
  • Carrots, raw | 1.50 cup chopped
  • Celery, raw | 1.00 cup chopped
  • Potato, flesh and skin, raw | 2.00 Potato medium 2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia
  • Onions raw | 1.00 medium 2-1/2" dia
  • Garlic, raw | 2.00 Tbsp
  • Spices, oregano, dried | 0.50 tsp, ground
  • Spices, bay leaf | 2.00 tsp, crumbled

Instructions

  1. In a 5 quart (4.73 litres) slow cooker combine chicken broth, peas, sausage, carrot, celery, potatoes, onion, garlic, oregano and bay leaves.
  2. Cover and cook 6-7 hours on high.
  3. Remove the bay leaves before serving.
