Ingredients

  • Turkey meat witout skin, raw | 0.60 unit yield from 1 lb turkey
  • MORI-NU, Tofu, silken, firm | 1.00 slice
  • Spices, cumin seed | 0.50 tsp, whole
  • Spices, garlic powder | 0.25 tsp
  • Canola oil | 1.00 tsp
  • Avocados, raw | 0.50 avocado, NS as to Florida or California
  • Lettuce, green leaf, raw | 4.00 leaf outer
  • Mayonnaise dressing, no cholesterol | 2.00 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine the ground turkey, tofu, cumin, and garlic in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Form into two patties.
  4. Heat a medium non-stick skillet over medium heat, Add canola oil.
  5. Cook in the skillet 3-1/2 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a pre-heated 350 degree F oven and bake for five minutes or until cooked through.
  7. Let stand five minutes to cool slightly.
  8. Place lettuce leaf on each burger.
  9. Top each burger with three slices of avocado, a tablespoon of mayonnaise, then the burger patty and the remaining slices of leaf lettuce.
