  • Onions raw | 1.00 medium 2-1/2" dia
  • Palm kernel oil | 3.00 tablespoon
  • Spinach, raw | 1.50 bunch
  • Dried pine nuts | 0.25 cup
  • Seeded raisins | 2.00 tbsp
  • Soy sauce made from soy and wheat shoyu | 2.00 tbsp
  • Salt | 1.00 dash

  1. Wipe the spinach and then remove the long stalks, drain and then dry them; slice the garlic cloves and onion. Heat the wok and then dry-fry the pine nuts until lightly browned. Remove the nuts from the wok and set them aside.
  2. Now heat the oil in the wok and then put the onion and garlic in the wok and stir-fry for 1 minute. Then put the spinach and mushrooms and stir-fry until the leaves have wilted. Drain any excess liquid.
  3. Now add the raisins in the wok together with the pine nuts and soy sauce; stir-fry the mixture until thoroughly heated and well mixed.
