Ingredients

  • Oat bran bread | 3.00 oz
  • Bananas, raw | 1.00 medium 7" to 7-7/8" long
  • Frozen, sweetened whole strawberries | 2.00 cup, thawed
  • Salt | 0.25 tsp
  • Spices, cinnamon, ground | 0.12 tsp
  • Low fat fortified milk | 0.50 cup

Instructions

  1. Pre-cook oats the night before to minimize morning cooking time.
  2. Again in the morning, bring the oats to a simmer and add the banana, salt and cinnamon.
  3. Keep stirring and simmer until you have the desired consistency (10 minutes or so), remove from heat, and stir-in the strawberries.
  4. Sweeten with honey to taste.
