Ingredients

  • Baked beans home prepared | 1.25 cup
  • Lima beans, immature seeds, boiled, drained, without salt | 1.25 cup
  • Raw sprouted kidney beans | 1.25 cup
  • Onions raw | 0.50 cup, chopped
  • Garlic, raw | 2.00 Tbsp
  • Olive oil | 2.00 tablespoon
  • Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched | 1.00 tbsp
  • Molasses | 2.00 serving 1 tbsp
  • Spices, ginger, ground | 0.50 tsp
  • Spices, chili powder | 0.12 tsp
  • Sweet Green peppers, raw | 1.00 cup, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325?F (160?C).
  2. Combine baked beans, lima and kidney beans in a 2 litre casserole dish and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, sauté onion, pepper and garlic in oil until onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in flour then add molasses, soy sauce, ginger and chili powder.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Pour over beans and stir lightly.
  7. Cover and bake 1 hour on middle oven rack.
  8. Uncover and bake extra 30 minutes, or until thick.
